Appointment Scheduling
User Definable Appointment Type Codes - define appointment and lab items that can be
scheduled for the resident, including the definition of the number of minutes required for the procedure.
User Definable Appointment Status Codes - are used to record appointments canceled and
physician dates scheduled, on vacation, off, on call, meetings, etc.
Appointment Data Entry - allows the user to setup appointments by resident, indicating
date, time, appointment type code, status, and physician. Once a date is entered, a pop-up window is displayed
showing available time slots. Schedule conflicts are displayed and will not allow the appointment to be scheduled.
Appointments - may be displayed by Date, Physician and Resident.
Display Available Appointments - shows a list of available time slots, by physician and date.
Physician's Default Schedule - information may be entered and then a schedule can be generated
for any date range from the default information in the Generate Physician Schedule selection. Exceptions to the
schedule are entered in the Physician Schedule Entry.
Display and Print Physicians Schedule by Physician and by Date are options available in this
module.
Display Available-Multiple Physicians - allows the user to enter several physician codes and
the screen will display time slots that are available for all of the physician's requested. This option can be used
to schedule meetings and conferences with two or more physicians.
