The ideal candidate for the Point-of-Sale (POS) Implementer/Trainer will be an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills; a well organized, multi-tasker with good time-management skills and attention to detail; a dedicated, team-player who is also able to work independently; an excellent communicator with a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to client service requests in a timely manner, and resolve issues to client satisfaction using remote support tools.
  • Provide timely follow-up and thorough documentation on all client service requests including time records and project management plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date client support and training documentation.
  • System implementation and training:
    • Pre-implementation project management, planning, scheduling and client preparation.
    •  On-site implementation of live system, and train staff to comfortable level by conclusion of visit.
    • Develop post-implementation plan, obtain necessary client sign-offs and thoroughly document all implementation/training details.
    • Develop and present web-based training courses designed to make users more self-reliant and to enhance client’s overall experience with our POS systems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with POS Customer Support required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • POS training and system implementation preferred.
  • POS hardware experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of POS back-office preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years restaurant/retail management a plus.
  • Inventory experience a plus.
  • Food manager certification a plus.
  • PC hardware and network installation a plus.
  • All candidates must live locally, be willing to travel up 50%, and be able to lift 50 pounds.
