AOD 2009 User's Conference offered CEUs for Nurses & CFOs of LTC Facilities
May 26, 2009 -AOD 2009 User's Conference was held on May 11-15, 2009, at the Delray Beach Marriott beachfront hotel. The primary focus this year was “Partners in Care”.
More than 150 attendees registered to attend the User’s Conference which brings together staff, customers and business partners in long term care from around North America and is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, solutions and best-practices.
The 2009 Conference included many in-depth, informative sessions, roundtables, plus four CEU courses available for Nursing and Finance/Administration tracks. Additionally, each day, AOD’s experienced Support Professionals were on hand to provide one-on-one assistance at the Computer Lab. The always popular lab provided hands-on demonstrations for all AnswersElite Modules, including Point-of-Sale, and AnswersElite Time & Attendance.
The Opening Ceremony Keynote was presented by Rich Scanlon a Managing Director with Ziegler Capital Markets. The topic for the keynote was “Strategies for Senior Living Providers in Challenging Economic Times&rdquo
The CEU courses for nurses were provided on Tuesday, May 12 and Thursday, May 13. Nurses earned 1.5 CEUs for participating in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for LTC session on Tuesday afternoon presented by Diane Lewman, RHIT from Meadowlark Hills, an AOD Software client and prominent member of the long term care industry. Another 1.5 CEU’s were available to nurses on Thursday afternoon for participating the Electronic Med Pass and Physicians Orders session presented by Tamara Stepanek of Immanuel Senior Living, another AOD Software client.
Attendees on the Finance and Administrative track earned a total of 2 CEUs for participating at both of the courses offered. The first session, on Tuesday, May 12, was on Financial/Billing presented by Professor Chas Corradini of AOD Software. The second session, on Thursday, May 14 was on Electronic Bill Processing presented by Jean Fullington of AOD Software.
