AOD Software Beta Testing MDS 3.0 Ahead of Schedule for LTC Facilities

July 15, 2010 – AOD Software released their MDS 3.0 version ahead of schedule to beta testing sites in mid-June. MDS 3.0 will be included in the AnswersElite® version 12 upgrade scheduled for general release in August.

The MDS 3.0 is a new regulatory assessment mandated by the Federal government and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to take effect on October 1st, 2010. Aside from the software components required to maintain compliance, AOD has developed additional features to help long term care facilities better manage the completion, documentation and processing of the MDS 3.0. The company is also holding webinars and offering eLearning videos which cover the new software system, interviewing techniques and the changes between the MDS 2.0 and 3.0.
