  • 2 GB RAM (minimum 1)
  • 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps network interface card and network switch.

  • O/S: Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server® or (Novell, but not recommended4)

Notes:

1 These are minimum requirements. Additional Processor speed and RAM will improve overall system performance and should always be considered.

2 The size of the Backup System should be appropriate for the server in question in order to handle all files/data that require backup.

3 The size of the disk space is based upon this server primarily being used for AAOD and necessary O/S and driver files. If running other applications or providing user file storage, a larger drive/multiple drives may be required. RAID and other fault-tolerant systems should be considered.
